A little context: We just started leaving the gate off North's bed a week ago, so he gets to choose when he gets out of bed, and after his naps he usually stays in his room and comes up with his own stuff to do, till its so late I have to rustle him out of his room.

First hike on a real trail

This was North's first time on a real hiking trail. He ripped down the trail at an adult walking pace, walking the full length of the trail going there and back. It was nice for me to see my old school grounds for the first time since 2003.
